Who's writing this

Hi, I am Nishtha — a content writer, radio and on-camera host, and professional oversharer, based in San Jose, CA.

I write food, lifestyle, and culture stories for the Bay Area Indian American community, and I got my start as a radio jockey back in India, calling live IPL commentary on air. These days I have traded cricket matches for commentary on everything else — writing, hosting, and chronicling the small, funny, and occasionally chaotic parts of being an NRI trying to build a life on the other side of the world.

Curry and Commentary is where the stories that do not fit anywhere else end up — some are just for laughs, some are about the food that raised me, and some are me thinking out loud about pop culture, identity, or whatever has been rattling around in my head that week.
